Beautiful Beaches

A short drive – or a beautiful walk of approximately 1 mile- is the beautiful blue flag beach of Marble Hill, which is very popular with swimmers and surfers.

A mile in the other direction is the pier of Port na Blagh, from which the views of Sheephaven Bay and the headland of Horn Head are spectacular.

Also, within a 5 minute drive you have Killyhoey beach in Dunfanaghy, which offers a 3-mile-long stretch of sandy beach that is skirted by Dunfanaghy Golf Links.

Incredible Scenery

The port of Port na Blagh is located on the shores of Sheephaven Bay and is surrounded by dramatic coastal and mountain scenery.

Just north of Port na Blagh lies Horn Head with its striking cliff scenery and a wide variety of bird life.

Perhaps the most dramatic of Donegal’s Peninsulas, Horn Head provides stunning scenic drives and numerous scenic walks along the Wild Atlantic Way.

There are numerous walks within a short distance from the holiday homes including, Ards Forest Park, Ards Friary and Glenveagh National Park which is only a 20 minute drive away.

The popular seaside village of Dunfanaghy is just a short drive away. The bustling village square has a great selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and take-aways. There is often great live music or even festivals in the village
